Tender and genuinely sweet when she wants to thoBio: The first child of the unfortunate marriage of Spike and Rarity, Vanilla grew to be a trouble maker and rough as heck to try getting some attention from her parents to see if they would stop fighting for once.Despite that, she was originally a nice filly, polite and well mannered, the way her mother wanted her to be. Yet, she still had draconic instincts that made her hard to deal with. She wasn’t bad intentioned and didn’t know why mum was always screaming to daddy about burnt fabric and chewed clothes.When her parents divorced, Vanilla went to live with Spike (she would find out, in the future, that Rarity claimed she was “too hard to deal with”) and his long time friend Thorax. She saw as love blossomed its way into their hearts, and soon she was called to the living room where Spike was holding some sorta egg. She’d be a big sis again.Since Spike had no wings (just like Rarity hsuwjsja) it took her a while to learn to fly properly. Spike would try to get flight lessons from Dash but it was too hard to find a free space in her schedule. Garble would be a good option too but he was busy raising his own daughter and was too big anyways. The ones who taught Nilla about flight were Cadence and Thorax. Mostly Cadence tho, since Thorax’s wings are…. Not really close to a pegasus’Vanilla figured out she got a crazy strength from her dragon bloodline and tried to get into the guard once, but she soon quit since it wasn’t much her jam.Vanilla is irresponsible, lazy, a constant daydreamer and somewhat bubbly. But she knows when she’s being fooled, and will turn the game in order to win. Those who suffered from her vendettas are regretful for their entire life.Like Rarity, she can come as manipulative and over dramatic, even annoying. While Spike doesn’t fall for her croc tears easily, Thorax has a completely butter heart and she can make him buy her any candy she wants.She’s one heck of a cusser, and maybe you should try covering your filly’s ears when she’s close.She can be calm, patient and a gentle giant around those she likes or respects. Don’t push her patience to hardly tho, she’s always ready to bite someone’s head offRelationships:Spike and Vanilla are really, REALLY close. They enjoy playing rough, running, exercising and baking together. She loves her daddy with all her heart.She’s also really close to Thorax, who used to tell her stories about the time he was in the changeling army when she was a filly. He’s also Vanilla’s confident and she can tell him anything she wantsAlthough it doesn’t seem like it at first, Vanilla and Neith care about and respect each other. Neith, unlike Nilla, made it into the army, and while Thorax and Spike were terrified Vanilla supported her 100%. She also helped her in her training when preparing her for stronger foesVanilla and Confusion enjoy a snarky, bitchy friendship, loving to point out how the high class is so snotty and prissy it’s ridiculous, pranking on ponies very very often with Con’s shapeshifting and Vanilla’s terrifying dragon outside. Cocco is currently trying to help her out with her cousin Calipso, who’s a buttAs stated before, Nilla has a strong crush on Luna’s daughter Calipso. Her heart went from 0 to 599273737 when she saw the grumpy alicorn for the first time.She’s still trying hard to get into her heartFor a while, she didn’t get along with Rarity much. She kinda looked down to her mother as something she would never get to be. But she’s grown out of it and respects her mom, while actually not ever taking her as a life example.She looks up to Maud and extremely respects her. They train together at times so Nilla won’t simply go flat and so she can fly better and easierIt also took her a while to accept her half brother Carbon, but she protects her with all her will and is not above intimidating ponies who try to harass him.Special:-Her fire is green like her dad’s -Is terrified of animatronics-Can bake actually quite nicely-Her best flying trick is performing faster than sound. In this case, it’s her own roar. It’s really neat but quite hard to explain-Doesn’t eat gems as her teeth can’t chew them too well. She prefers to hunt fish and small mammals, but is omnivore and a hay sandwich goes very well too-Claims to have a pet crystal falcon but nopony’s ever seen it. It’s true tho, she just leaves him free on his own-Sewing and knitting are pretty easy for her, though she tends to ruin some of her creations with her huge paw-claws.
