Description:

Names- Spanish Moss and Peach Blossom

Series- United Ponies of America

State- Georgia

Media- Ink and Colored Pencils

We continue through our United Ponies of America and hitting another southern state, Georgia. FYI, I briefly was in Georgia when my family visited Tennessee last year. We accidentally took a wrong turn along the border and ended up in Georgia for a good ten minutes lol. Anyway, when coming up with the title I thought of the term ‘feeling peachy keen’ (yes to MLP fans, Feeling Pinkie Keen is a reference to this term). This pair here is definitely one of my favorite designs. Continuing the other trend of switching between the different pony races. Also, this is the 10th state, so only 40 more to go! LOL. Wow this is going to take me awhile, but I am okay with that.

Spanish Moss- The stallion proved to be the harder of the two to come up with because other than peaches, I couldn’t think another way to represent the state. So I looked up some things and found that the Spanish Moss tree is pretty abundant there and I always loved the look of this tree. So I base my stallion after this tree and it’s one of my favorite stallion designs. His mane is suppose to be the ‘leaves’ of the tree.

Peach Blossom- Of course I was going to do a peach themed pony and it was pretty easy to use that theme for the mare. Coming up with the name and color scheme took a little longer, but than I looked up the flower peaches have, and I loved the colors of the different flowers and since pinks and peach colors go well together, I thought it fit. I wanted to do something different with the mane, so I had it up and I like it.

So to my fellow Bronies of Georgia, did I do a decent job representing your state? Feedback is really appreciated.
