*BBBFF Starswirl and Tiny Celestia*

This was drawn over three years ago, but it is still one of my favorites. 🙂 This was a rough concept to put my own spin on Starswirl’s design and character. I liked the idea of him being related to Twilight Sparkle hence the purple-ish hue to his coat, but his colors have changed since then. This scene is part of a headcanon/AU, that I am working on with my brother, where Starswirl the Bearded is Princess Celestia’s and Princess Luna’s older half-brother. (They all share the same mother.) In this AU, Starswirl is also the father of Clover the Clever, but only a select few know about that fact. My brother and I also envision Starswirl being voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch. I’ll write more on this headcanon/AU at a later time. 🙂

In this scene, Starswirl quietly peeks over from a book that Celestia, Luna, and Clover put together for him, to see his little sister, Celestia, has fallen asleep. She fought hard to stay awake, but sleep finally found her. 🙂
