Description:
Framed for crimes they didn’t commit, Maud and Marble Pie were captured, arrested, tried, and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. When the gavel was brought down, the two were taken to a high security prison, dressed in rubber bodysuits, collared, cuffed, and gagged before being locked in their cells.
Now, ten years after their incarceration began, they have gotten used to prison life; the cuffs and suit only come off to be cleaned, and their gags are only removed three times a day for twenty minutes for feeding. The rest of the time, they remain restrained and silenced like all the other inmates
Maud has accepted her fate, but Marble has not. She sobs, but the gag silences her. All Maud can do is try to give comfort to her sister from across the hall of their cellblock, and trust that one day evidence will be revealed that proves their innocence. But until that day comes, all they can do is wait and serve their sentences.
