"I know exactly what went wrong."

The cross-eyed pegasus, in her foolishness, had fornicated with the mortician's beloved. Regrettable, but the infidelity was the least of Derpy Hooves' sorrows. As she hurriedly put her clothes back on while being shoved out the door, he told her to "get tested." Two full weeks passed before her addled brain had pieced together the meaning of his words. He had impregnated her, at least that is the conclusion she had come to, and the various... symptoms.

She landed at the darkened entrance of Ponyville General Hospital, with it's many tinfoil covered windows. The only light from the building being the florescent lights inside and the life-giving light cast by the sun through the doorway. Beyond the door, at the reception desk, as a mare in the typical trappings of a doctor: a long white coat covered in crimson hand-prints, a stethoscope, an ID badge... that did not match the face of the one wearing it, the typical things.

"May I help you, mortal?" the doctor asked.

"I think I'm pregnant." Derpy said in her wavy voice. Being addressed as 'mortal' was strange, but she would ruminate on the doctor's esoteric choice of vocabulary later.

The doctor pointed to an empty waiting room, illuminated by a flickering fluorescent light.

"Do I take a number?" she asked.

The doctor looked up at her with her crimson eyes and a scowl at the idiotic question. Rude, thought Derpy.

In the empty waiting room was a standing sign. A wet floor sign, with a piece of paper taped over it. In simple magic marker the sign had an arrow pointing toward the hallway with the text "Go directly to room 6, do NOT turn on the light." A strange request, but a simple one...

... that Derpy could not grant.

As soon as she turned on the lights, her vision was greeted with a hospital room with many gruesome bloodstains on the walls, floor, ceiling, and furniture, and a hulking pegasus with crimson eyes. He grinned at her malignantly through a maw of razor sharp teeth. The pegasus wore a doctor's coat over what looked like a menacing black leotard clinging to his rippling form.

"Hi doctor... I forgot what I came in for." she said, with drooping ears.

Silence from the massive doctor.

"Should I take my clothes off?" Derpy asked, already slowly pulling her navy blue top above her perky breasts clad in a lacy black bra. She let the top drop to the floor as she tugged her black skirt around her ankles and pushed them aside with her hoof. As she thumbed the waistband of her panties, she noticed the 'doctor' looming closer with his mouth open.

She went wide eyed and backed toward the door. Derpy did not have a masters in medical science, or even how to open a band aid in less than forty seconds, but even she knew that this was NOT a medical procedure.

"Doctor! What are you doing!?"

The 'doctor' let out a monstrous roar that shook the very room. If Derpy could translate monster to ponish, she would assume it meant "It would be in your best interest if you left the facility post-haste." In layman's terms...

"RUN BITCH, RUUUUUUUNNN!!!" she thought. Pulling the door open and running into the hallway with the fulminating footfalls of this faux physician following her.

Much smaller ponies, all with crimson eyes, stared at her as she ran. They laughed maniacally at the terrified pony.

Up ahead, the welcoming light of the outside gave her hope of escape... before the tinfoil covered doors slid shut and clicked loudly, indicating they had been locked. In a blind panic, she ran down another hallway, catching Dr. Horse by the arms, also with crimson eyes.

"Monster! Monster! Heeelllp!" she blathered.

Dr. Horse pulled himself away with ease and put his hand to his mouth, turning down the hallway she ran from. "The prey is over here!" he shouted.

The winding hallways of the hospital came to an end. She curled up in a corner and covered her head with her arms, hiding herself with her own wings. Her assailant, with a few rolls of bandages, picked up the screaming, struggling pegasus and bound her tightly. The hunter had his prey, now to triumphantly parade his catch about.
