The Apple-Diamond Kids
When Applejack became the co-main caretaker of the farm (Big Mac was the other), she and Double Diamond began dating. At first it was just Diamond coming to Ponyville to visit, usually during the skiing season. But soon, both ponies went back and forth between their towns, going on walks, lunches, and even dances!... Okay, barn dances, but still!

Double proposed to Applejack the day the zap-apples ripened, and the main food at the wedding reception was zap-apple pie! About a year after their marriage, they had their first foal. Then, a couple years after that, their second, then their third, then their fourth, then their fifth!

The five siblings are VERY close. They play and work together all day, rain or shine.

Golden Delicious:
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Bio:
Golden (sometimes just Gold) is the top bronco and roper in the rodeo. He fell in love with the rodeo the first time his mother took him. He began competing at the young age of 4, beating everypony else in his age group. As he got older, several adult groups asked him to be on their teams, but he declined. He only competes with his Apple cousins and family. He, his Uncle Braeburn, and his mother, Applejack, make a perfect hay stacking and roping team.

Gold is the sibling ring-leader. He thinks of most of the games, is the chaperon when they go places that are dangerous, and is their protector against anypony who dares threaten them. He and Amber Rose (below) have formed a 'militia' between the two of them. All four of his siblings look up to him.

Gold is calm, patient, gentle, and quiet. He talks less then his siblings, but he is far from shy. Gold is very strong, mentally and physically, and helps Uncle Macintosh around the farm with the heavy-duty jobs (or, heavier-dutier jobs. Everypony does heavy-duty jobs)

Amber Rose:
Age: 14
Gender: Female
(The patched mare)

Bio:
Ever since she was a little filly, Amber, like Gold, loved the rodeo. She particularly loved the speed events. She began training herself, and entered her first competition at age 4, just like her big bro. As she got older, she was the head of her age group in Barrel racing, roping, and the quarter mile race. Her love of speed has led her to become the fastest pony in the rodeo, rivaling all of the adults. She joined adult relay race teams. Each stretch of the race is a quarter-mile long, and the four members of the team are at stations, one every quarter mile. Amber sometime travels to Appaloosa and beyond to compete in relay, quarter-mile, and barrel races.

The 'sergeant' in the two-pony militia among the siblings, Amber and Gold trained together for a long time to perfect fighting moves, asking Starshine to teach them. Starshine and Amber are great pals, and when Starshine comes home on breaks, the two love to hang out under the apple trees, watching the sun sink towards the horizon. Amber knows this is great therapy for Starshine, who can sometimes be stressed out and tired by her training.

Amber is rather loud, rather impatient, and a fast-paced pony. She sometimes loses her temper with her siblings, and Gold has to remind her that she's several years older than they are, and should act like it... usually. She loves playing with her siblings, and she loves to make work into a giant game saying stuff like: "Let's pretend were slaves under King Sombre, and were planning a rebellion against him!" or "We're ninjas and we have to get all the apples out of these trees before King Ahuizotl comes with his minions!"

Spartan:
Age: 9
Gender: Male (TWIN TO HONEYCRISP)

Bio:
Spartan never had a ton of interest in the rodeo. Oh, he loved watching it and watching his family members compete, but he never liked it much more than that. He loves apples, which his Uncle Macintosh is very willing to teach him about the different types, and he also loves snow. His father, Double, is thrilled about this. He has taught Spartan everything about the snowy mountains, from skiing to snowboarding to the plants. Spartan takes particular interest in the fruits of the region, especially the Frost Apples, a very rare and believed to be extinct mountain apple.

As a Cutie Mark Crusader, he goes on several adventures, may it be terrorizing Opal or climbing to the top of the Town Hall. He and his twin sister (below) are the bridge between Gold and Amber, and their little sister Pink Lady. He loves helping with the chores, turning it into a game, just like his siblings. As a laid back pony, he can make friends with anypony, leading to a bit of conflict at school when it comes to deciding between thepopular foals and the CMC.

Spartan is a "cool", kind, curious, and strong colt. He sometimes has to defend his shy, introverted twin sister from his "popular" friends. He loves reading adventure stories, especially the Daring Do series!

*Honeycrisp:
*Age: 9
Gender: Female (TWIN TO SPARTAN)

Bio:
The same as her twin brother, Honey (or, as her family calls her, Crispy) has never been a huge fan of the rodeo. The same as him, she liked watching, but not participating. She loves reading, and takes regular lessons from Princess Twilight. She loves taking walks with her Uncle Macintosh (Uncle Mac), him sometimes teaching her about the farm and apples, and sometimes just walking in silence, looking at everything around them. She has taken a love to art, sketching, drawing, coloring, and painting any surface that happens to be handy when she has inspiration. She hasn't made that many friends at school, unlike her brother, and like to be alone, reading or drawing, instead of at a party.

Spartan practically forced her to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and it took Gold, Amber, Spartan, and her Aunt Applebloom to sonvince her to join. As soon as she did, she made friends with Candleflame, who was a good volume (he was quiet) for her. He managed to get her to make friends with and feel comfortable around the rest of the CMC, and she soon eagerly took part in their adventures.

Honey is quiet, calm, shy, and kind, sometimes too much. The foals at school find her an easy target to pick on, and she ends up on the butt of jokes quite often.

*Pink Lady:
*Age: 4
Gender: Female

Bio:
As the newest member of the family, Pink loves playing with her siblings, and "cooking" with her mother and great-grandmother.
