Like I said, her character description was already getting SO dang long, to where I had to section it off into smaller posts. So here's another excerpt from it! This is a little short story of when Estella obtained her cutie mark. I hope y'all enjoy! Thank y'all!^{^}

-A year or so later, Estey would gain her cutie mark. She got it due to an unexpected experience that happened one late evening when Polaris and Estey were playing in a labyrinth nearby Canterlot Castle. The two got carried away playing chase while their moms, Twilight and Trixie, were distracted in the castle. The moms allowed the two to play outside, but then they happened to get lost in the labyrinth. Upon trying to escape, it had gotten dark. The two were scared, yes, but they had each other. Sure Estella has wings, but at her age, she wasn't the best flyer, if anything she couldn't fly at all. Polaris could only use his luminescence to guide the way through. Not before long, they made it to the center, however it wasn't the end. At this point Polaris wasn't going to go any further and decided to blink his luminescence in morse code, spelling S.O.S. But then abruptly, the two heard rustling from the hedges as the cool wind blew subsequently. The atmosphere was off...something was among them. Eventually, the odd presence brought itself forth, appearing as a black shadowy silhouette of a unicorn stallion with big bright white eyes. The two panicked as the scary shadow gilded it's way towards them. Nevertheless, Polaris stood in front of Estella and protected her. He started shooting magical surges at the shadow, but it did nothing. Out of fear, Polaris threatened the thing, though it still didn't falter. He instantly grew tired of this shadow play, and readied himself to charge at the creature. Thus, the young valiant colt galloped at the creature, horn ready to blast right through it. The shadow let out an echoey malevolent chuckle and engulfed Polaris momentarily. This attack hindered his magic useless as "black crystals" grew on it. "Gullible little colt. You don't know what you've gotten her and yourself into," the shadow said in a low deep voice, as it crawled its way to a wide-eyed and paralyzed Estella. "Her magic is far beyond belief" it continued before it suddenly started rushing towards Estella.
"Estella! Wait!," Polaris yelled before running ahead of the shadow and to hold Estella, shaking horribly. Him hugging her broke Estella out of her stale trance. Out of fear, she tried to use her horn too, but all she was doing was straining herself. Until Polaris said in the most sincere way, "You got this, I have 'confidence' in you".

That's it, that's all she needed to hear, "confidence". Confidence in her, in the most hapless moment, Polaris has confidence that she can do it, with no doubts. Within a split second, the little life Estella had up till this point flashed before her eyes. Everything was in slow motion, her mind was at ease, her heart steady. "Thank you," she whispered, before she opened her eyes as her powers awoke, before "she" awoke. A big bright ball of light was formed on her horn, her eyes glowed, as her hair was flowing white and her body a dark purple galaxy; a new pony she appeared to be.
"She has awoken," the shadow said before a blinding white blast of light shot him into the twilight. Like a shooting star a bright blooming light was formed in the sky, as all of the other stars in the sky sparkled in unison. Subsequently, Estella slightly levitated off the ground as swirling magic engulfed her. Polaris was in awe of everything that he was witnessing. Estella's transformation ended as she was gently placed back on the ground. Polaris supported her as she seemed fairly unconscious. Luckily her temporary beacon alerted Twilight and Trixie (as the two mom's were actually looking for the two at this point… what parents they are XP). Twilight gathered them and teleported them back to the castle. And to their surprise, Estella looked almost like a different pony. Not only did she gain her cutie mark, but her appearance was slightly altered, like dark purple gradient on her legs and a vague sparkling white fade in her hair. Eventually when Estey woke up, she was greeted by her new look and cutie mark, though she had very mixed feelings about it. She thought that the alterations looked weird and unnatural, and claimed that she has no memory of how her cutie mark came to be. That whole situation messed her up, didn't it…
