Solifuge (Sol for short) is a changeling who lives in Seafey's Hive. She's fascinated by the history of ponies, who taught all the other creatures of the world to live in harmony over a millennium ago, until they all mysteriously disappeared along with magic one day. Her dream is to recreate this utopia, but other changelings think she has her head in the clouds. While all changelings from the same generation and hive consider each other siblings, she's particularly close to her brood-brother Phalanx (Hitch).

If you're wondering about the name, solifuges are also known as sun spiders, and I wanted to keep the sun theme with her name. You can't see them in this drawing, but she has wings.
