two lovely mares that i headcannon to be trans women! first we have the ever popular transfemme big mac headcannon, who is now named Apple Butter and is happily married to her wife and long time friend, sugar belle. Apple Butter, or just Butters, transitioned shortly after the birth of her first son, Big Sugar, and has been living as a mare very happily since. Butters has always felt like being a stallion was not for her, and the infamous sisterhooves social incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. She chose her name to honor her late mother, who was very influential on her ideas of what womanhood could be for her. second, we have my own headcannon of transfemme sunburst, who now goes by Sunshine. Sunshine was in egg mode for many years, not understanding why she was so unhappy and uncomfortable in her body. She married her wife Moondancer and very happily had twin daughters with her, and only began to understand herself when her daughters were begining to form their own identities and realized that she had never really assessed her own feelings about her gender and body. Sunshine has only just begun her transition, but her friend and fellow trans woman princess cadence is there to help her navigate this complicated and emotional time in her life alongside Sunshine and her family.
