More human ponies! Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust. I loved these two in Wonderbolts Academy.
I don’t ship them but I do wholeheartedly believe that they are ex-girlfriends. There is no other way to explain their behaviour in The Washouts. The immediate flares of anger, the slipping in and out of their old friendly rival dynamic, the reminiscing, the goading, the “come on, you know you miss me.” Honestly.
Anyway this drawing is set before all that, when they were still buddies at the academy.
