"Lurking deep in the frigid waters of the south pole beyond Equestria is the dreaded Ziphius. A large, orca-like creature, its eyesight is extremely poor, but it makes up for it by using echolocation to navigate the dark depths. If you hear a distinct click, then the Ziphius has already found you. It's aggressive nature has forced the polar hippogriffs into retreating to the land, unable to return to their second home of Glaciana. The Ziphius is feared all across the south pole, even the orcas are afraid of this beast. As a result, it has become very difficult to find any fish, as the Ziphius devours whole schools of them, and anygriff that tries to get in the way might not live to tell of their frightening encounter.
