Johnny Gold Papillon Shy is the second born son of Applejack and Fluttershy. He is a business man who sees to the Apple company's finances and is a popular country singer.

He is a hot blooded stallion who rose to fame due to his singing voice, personality and well....infamy.

His talent is resurrection and healing of plant life by his singing voice.

Can play any stringed instrument. A terror at brass.

You either love Johnny Gold, or hate him. Not many ponies are indifferent to him - whether he passes by or you happen to see him on the telly, he always leaves a lasting impression.

Johnny was born with vampirism. He does have a taste for blood but only during full moons or unless there is a copious amount that he happens to sniff out.

A very handsome pony, Johnny is a shameless flirt. He loves nothing more to make ponies and non-ponies alike melt like butter to smooth words uttered by that deep, husky voice of his.

As mentioned in Poetic Justice's new reference, pink is not a color that is very liked on male ponies (unless you're a pegasus). As a young child, Johnny was bullied a bit for his coloring. It didn't help that he had a long, soft mane and markings like a baby deer. It hurt him but growing up in a large family luckily molded him into a tough, confident pony at a young age. Now he doesn't give a shit about what other ponies think of his physical attributes.

Unfortunately at times, Johnny is prone to being a bit of a bully and sometimes pushes things too far but deep down he's a good guy and doesn't mean what he says (a lot).

Honest to a fault. A very good liar but hates doing it.

BLOOD MODE is Johnny's other side that comes out whenever he is in a blood frenzy. He then enjoys : Metal music, leather, spiked collars/bracelets, lots of beer, arson, flying around at concerts like a bat out of Hell and much, much more things he is loathe to partake in.

In BLOOD MODE, Johnny sprouts wings. But only in BLOOD MODE. After he calms down they shrivel up and fall off. Poetic Justice is studying this phenomena.

When in BLOOD MODE, Johnny joins his best friend Risky Gambit and they form a duet.

Yes, yes they keep the discarded wing limbs.

Scar on his right eye was due to a run in with a bull.

Johnny is an earth pony with pegasus attributes. This is not a common phenotype.

The "Gold" in his name is due to his golden hooves. He has a bit of concentrated magic that can manifest into a golden aura.

Has a problem with someone not liking him..... He is used to being liked and it bothers him when it's obvious when it's the opposite. He must know why. Doesn't matter if he wants to fix it or not.

He is very well educated despite not acting like it. Went to school for business and banking.

Tall, well muscled but lean and a bit willowy.

I changed his design a bit but wanted his character to stay similar to what it was before.

I guess I wanted him to look more like Flutters in terms of all the pink tones. I gave him more markings, kinda like Poet's. Maybe he feels a bit similar to the prince because of how their fur looks? It always bothered me a bit how his name had "gold" in it but nothing about him was really that golden so that's why I have him gold hooves. When he was born his tiny hooves shined like metal.

He's still a well meaning heartthrob who knows he shits gold and can be a thorn in Poetic Justice's side but is overall a very good friend to have. I didn't like how super uncomfortable Poet was in the past interactions around him so I'm toning that back. They are now tentative friends, at the moment.
