I had actually finished this a few hours ago, but was caught up doom scrolling youtube with my gf lmao

I saw a doodle page of a random character on Pinterest once, and wanted to do something similar. But this ended up looking more like a collage then anything. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with the outcome!

Had an idea where I explored Flurry's mane journey as you'd call it. Since I needed content for my nextgen hahaaaaa,,

Her relationship with her mane was pretty turbulent at first, and like any teen trying to discover themselves she'd explored a lot of options with her mane. It's naturally curly and a bit wild, but seeing as how the other princesses didn't have her mane type she felt a bit out of place. She believed that her natural mane didn't look "regal" enough in comparison. So she started to style it in a way that would seem "fitting".

She's lucky to have maids at hoof that were able to help her tame her mane, especially in the mornings. Since all that ironing and setting would most times result in her hair turning out more chaotic then what she had the night before. It was quite a hassle, with all that hair prep taking at least an hour to do. Most of the time she'd try to imitate her mother's manestyle. Which Cadence, though endearing felt a bit sad for Flurry because she didn't allow her to embrace her mane as it. Cadence actually adores flurry natural mane! It's soft, curly, wild and fluffy. Just like her daughter!

When she couldn't spare her usual time for her mane routine, she'd settle for a quick curl, tied it up into a bunch with a ribbon. Since she's the princess of the Crystal Empire she would unintentionally start trends. Others tend to keep a close eye on your when you're nobility, especially in Flurry's case.

She even had a wavy perm for a bit! Thought about straightening her mane, but she didn't want to end up looking like her Aunt Twilight aha.

Flurry now fully embraces her wild mane, though she did at times enjoyed her many mane changes, it felt better to just let it all loose. It may seem wild and unkempt, but she actually takes more care of her mane, keeping it shining and healthy :] She does however, still on random occasions changes her mane, just for fun!

It's a miracle how her hair survived all those rapid changes in style, but than again she has her strong alicorn genes to thank for that.
