Another reference sheet for another of my characters that I'll hopefully be getting some art of in the near future: Clover Cake. ^{^}

Born a farm boy in the country, he grew up being told he needed to be strong, tough and brave...but deep down he wanted to be submissive and subservient to a stronger pony, a superior in will and status. Luckily in perusing the former, he found the right Captain-and Prince-who could lead him to the later. ;3

Moving to Canterlot to join the royal guard, a regular patrol gone wrong went unexpectedly right for Clover Cake in the strangest sense. With his squad kidnapped and interrogated by Gigglemancer cultists, his old repressed desires awoke in him to the point that he was actually enjoying his treatment in captivity. Following the rescue effort spearheaded by Captain Shining Armor, they had a long talk about whether or not a guard's life was right for him...and following the psyche evaluation, he was discharged from his post and joined a Maid Academy. X3

Shining Armor was instrumental in facilitating his change of career and subsequent training, and in return for all his help, Clover Cake's former Captain had but one condition for him: upon graduation, he was to come into the service of his wife, Princess Cadance. He has served as her stallion maid ever since, both stud and sissy, born strong and trained to fight, yet lives and loves to be obedient, playful, submissive and breedable. ^{^}

Someday I'll get a series properly fleshing out his backstory in greater detail, but that's a good enough overview of it for the time being. :3

When I came up with the concept of Clover Cake almost a year ago, it was literally as a reaction to someone in our Friends Discord server joking about a "sissy stud", since that sort of thing is generally expected to be something of an oxymoron. But I decided to take it and run with it, and it evolved into this character.

He's not only a counterpoint character to FeatherTrap-serving Princess Cadance as his fellow serves Shining Armor-but very purposefully acts as a juxtaposing character design to him. Both have effeminates personalities, are very submissive, crossdress, are quite ticklish (and love it) and many other similarities as well, don't get me wrong...but whereas FeatherTrap is a little stallionlet twink, Clover Cake stands tall enough to meet Big Macintosh's gaze without bending and is strong enough to fight in melee. He's well and capable enough to answer any guard who catcalls him or asks him to bend over and take it by pounding them into the dirt. >.<
Which makes it all the more exciting when he actually does eagerly bend over for them...he's just that kind of sissy deep down.
