Teak is 22 years old Arboreal Peryton doe who lives with her tribe in the forest at the base of the Smokey Mountains. She is a staunch traditionalist, and prefers to do things the way that her tribe has always done them. Teak is as a result unable to adapt in the way that some of the more open minded deer of her tribe can.

Physically, despite the proportions of her body, she is actually rather small, and relatively weak in comparison to her peers. However, she is fit and healthy in general with no known ailments or chronic conditions.

As expected, Teak is most definitely shy towards outsiders, but once she feels she can trust you, you'll have a friend for life. She doesn't talk much, preferring her actions to speak for her. When she does talk, however, Teak has a sweet and quiet voice. Within the tribe, her best friend is Pine, the baker, who she has known since they were fawns.

Her main roles within her tribe are of foraging, food preparation and cooking, which she enjoys immensely. She is a very accomplished singer and dancer in the traditional manner of her tribe. She does also help with entertaining the fawns when she can- a task that she finds deeply fulfilling.

She loves wandering forests when it's raining, and has no concept of personal space. Teak really adores being physically close with those she trusts, as well as cuddling. Teak absolutely hates being near or inside tents and buildings, seeing them as vile abominations against nature.

Teak is a very religious doe, and follows all of the tenets of her shamanistic faith without exception. Her religion has no name as such, but is involved with the worship of the nature Goddess Mother Gaia, and the long lost Lady Arianwen- a strange deer-like creature that is said to be the Herald of their Goddess.

She is a true forest dwelling peryton who loves to sleep under trees, and does not like to go far from her arboreal home. Teak prefers to stay on the ground, taking flight only when required or necessary. She is a precise and agile flier, however, and though not especially fast, can maneuver like a hummingbird.

When it comes to more personal matters, Teak is heterosexual, and as a traditionalist, will only accept a stag as her mate. This is absolutely non-negotiable, and she does not find males of other species attractive at all. She is still a virgin, and is looking to start a family as soon as possible, with the right stag.
