Dealing with a nigh-omnipotent, inter-dimensional alien who enjoys acting like a trickster god is, unfortunately, one of the occasional tasks of a Starfleet officer. Lt. Commander Lockely, being a magnet for the weird, has sadly dealt with Q's shenanigans before, and they usually are able to solve whatever riddle or test that the godlike being throws at them with little fanfare. What Starfleet generally didn't take into account is that Q might also enjoy torturing some magical ponies under the guise of a nigh-omnipotent chimera named Discord, and that he thinks a certain fluffy Lt. Commander needs to spend less time staring at PADDs and running Level 2 diagnostics and more time realizing the Final Frontier is the Friendship we cultivated along the way.
