Dialogue -

The wedding between Princess Cadence and Shining Armor went off wonderfully now that the real Princess was back. Spike found his eyes wondering to Rainbow all night. She looked so beautiful in that bridesmaid dress. The party was coming to a close, and Spike took a deep breath. He straightened his red bowtie before finally making his way over to the pegasus.

Spike: The dragon held out a clawed hand towards Rainbow Dash, a nervous smile on his lips. "Rainbow... Would you like to dance?" He asked softly.

Rainbow Dash: She looked at the dragon, letting out a soft chuckle. "Sure, Spike." She carefully placed her hoof into his claws.

The two of them found a nice spot away from prying eyes, but close enough that they could still hear the music. Spike and Rainbow gave a small bow to one another, before Spike's hand rested on the pegasus's waist. Rainbow's hoof on his shoulder. The two of them began to slowly waltz in the castle garden, listening to the slow music playing while gazing in one another's eyes.

Rainbow: Her eyes softened, a smile crossing her lips as she looked at Spike. "I'm glad you're here."

Spike: "I'm glad you waited." He told her, referring to how he finally was over Rarity after all those years.

Rainbow: The slightest bit of blush dusted her cheeks as his words sunk in, her heart beating faster now. She cleared her throat a bit nervously. "You know, I'm sorry for the pranks and all. And calling you a dumb dragon. I didn't really mean it."

Spike: He chuckled. "I know. Just promise me you won't do it again." He said in a playful manner.

Rainbow: "I promise." Her mane slightly fell in front of her eyes, and Spike carefully brushed it away. His claws just barely touching her snout.

Spike: He looked into her eyes. "I love you, dash."

Rainbow: "I love you too. My heart belongs to you."
