I got the idea of giving Sonic this kind of suit from the MLP Comic called Star Mares which takes place in a alternate universe in MLP, but more in line of the original Star Wars original movie trilogy from A New Hope, the Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. I will do alternate versions of the vector with the mask over the muzzle and one with mask and visor over the eyes.

I might do a version of Sonic wearing the suits worn by the Rebel Alliance Pilots.

According to the comic Tie Flyer uniforms which I think are pretty similar to the comic's interpretation of the suits worn by Tie Fighter Pilots. The uniforms are comprise of a vacuum suit to keep the wearer from imploding in the vacuum of space without a space suit, rebreathers, turbo laser weapon like pods on the forelegs, and Ion Engine pods to help propel a pegasus through space.
