I'd make for a terrible Red Eye, I don't know if I could easily pull a 180 on the whole slavery city thing and he was already pretty buddy-buddy with all the alicorns as long as he kept on with whatever his evil plans were.
You either roll with it (“it” being a cycle of slavery and death) or flee to a wasteland in which every other pony has a reason to want you dead. The more I think about it, the more I think I was hasty to label that as a good outcome, even by FOE standards.
