My Little Ships (Part 1)

Before I explain myself with this, PLEASE do not start any crazy arguments in the comments about how you prefer this ship or someone else prefers another. I've seen too many comment sections where people leap at each other's throats when it comes to romantic pairings. Everyone has their opinions, everyone has their fan art, everyone has their fun! This is meant to be fun!

Do I expect everyone to ship these characters together like me? Absolutely NOT. But I had fun making this and you guys can have fun with your fan art, too! Fun! This is meant to be fun! Plus it's a cartoon show with pastel-colored ponies. Let's not take ourselves too seriously XD

But yeah, I've always wanted to draw Chibi-styled ponies and this was the perfect opportunity!

PART TWO will be coming on December 1st and will showcase who I ship the Mane Six & CMCs with! For now, here are a handful of my other ships!

* Silverstream & Gallus -> These two have always been so cute to me! The grumpy guy and bubbly girl are a trope I'll always fall for (heck, they kind of remind me of Snow White and Grumpy... yes... I ship Snow White and Grumpy... sue me)

* Yona & Sandbar -> This ship sort of became canon. Sort of. I mean, they were living together at the end of the season finale, so I'll assume they're at least roommates, but in my head canon they DEFINITELY got married. Sandbar strikes me as a stay-at-home-dad type while Yona runs Rarity's Carousel Boutique!

* Ember & Thorax -> Another grumpy person meets bubbly person but the roles are swapped - now it's grumpy Ember and sweet Thorax who compliment each other well!

* Tempest & Party Favor (with Pharynx) -> This is one of my sadder ships. In my head canon, Tempest and Pharynx started dating after some sparring and even got engaged! But before they could marry, Pharynx went on a border patrol where Diamond Dogs fighting for more territory were lying in wait for him. He never returned. Crushed and heartbroken, Tempest shut herself off from quite a few ponies and became very bitter. Until one pony managed to crack a little smile onto her face: Party Favor. He was called in along with Pinkie Pie to try and cheer her up, but while Pinkie was definitely coming off more as obnoxious, Party Favor quickly realized what Tempest really needed. The two of them just sat on a cliffside to look at the stars. She felt so comfortable next to him that she eventually broke down and he was there to console her. After that, they became an item and Pharynx is depicted here giving his approval of the relationship.

* Lightning Dust & Thunderlane -> The competitive duo who always push each other. Though their relationship is a little strained what with Lightning's desire to go bigger and more dangerous with each show. Thunderlane constantly worries about her and she can't help but harbor resentment towards him becoming a Wonderbolt when she didn't. I'm not saying they stay together, but their time together helps both of them grow.

* Limestone Pie & Short Fuse -> Pretty sure y'all already know that I LOVE these two together! I think I'm the only one who ships them, though, however I have convinced many people to consider this loud pair. They'd be a riot to watch!

* Derpy & Doctor Whooves -> Some wholesomeness for you! Of COURSE I ship these two for reasons I can't quite explain.

* Little Strongheart & Braeburn -> I already made a little picture showcasing their relationship as they spoke with Sandbar and Yona about taking their relationship to the next level. Here they are enjoying a good ol-fashioned hoe down as Little Strongheart wears her partner's hat and Braeburn embraces his wild side!
