The planet trembled as if a giant meteorite had struck. But it wasn't a space rock that caused the ground to move in such a violent and unusual way, accompanied by thunderous rumblings from the earth itself, behaving as if it were under something so heavy it could barely support itself.

The giant goddess's kilometer-long right foot, emerging from a dark vortex, was barely visible on the dark horizon, lost in the hazy distance and the night that, for some reason, had replaced the warm, sunny day. Everyone had to turn on their lights to avoid being plunged into perpetual darkness.

Above millions of defenseless souls, barely able to comprehend what was truly happening, an enormous, distinctly divine and beautifully feminine navy-blue foot hovered. Its rounded, monolithic toes barely moved, yet they did so with grace, tipped with gigantic silver plates that, like infinite, reflective mirrors, shimmered with the light of the natural satellite and countless stars. The slightest rustle of the toes against one another was audible, almost like mountains colliding, yet in harmony, as vast seas of perspiration rained down, flooding entire neighborhoods and towns in the wake of a nauseating stench.

“Let me envelop you in the cozy darkness of my sole, little mortals… May the night gently embrace you in eternity~”

The thunderous and inaudible sound, so deafening it was almost nothing less than the voice of the goddess addressing those unfortunate—or fortunate—people who were under the immensely large sole of the gigantic, beautiful giantess.

Allowing gravity to do its work, with a smooth and careful movement the goddess lowered her foot so that it rested effortlessly and with only a little weight and pressure applied to the earth's crust, which yielded like wet mud with a burst of earth and a cloud of brown dust.

Millions of innocent and defenseless lives were extinguished like the faint flame of a candle. Darkness claimed the entire area surrounding the impact, and everything was flooded with absolute gloom. But Princess Luna did not conceal her pleasure at the sensory experience.

"Ahhhhhh yes, here it goes... how delicious."

That was not just a brutal and visceral act, it is only the beginning of the harvest of dreams, a harvest from which millions of human souls and minds turned into mush will be required to balance the Kingdom of Dreams.
