Hello everyone. Today I'd like to introduce you to my combat character, Long Island.

I've been conceiving him for quite some time, and he was largely inspired by films like Waterworld, Captain Nemo, Turok, The Lost World, Apocalypto, and so on.

I conceived the character as a pegasus traveler who loves the ocean more than anything.

He's now a Canterlot guard and was even captured by changelings. All of this left its mark on him, so he later chose the path of an adventurer, traveling through islands and becoming a well-known figure on Mount Eris, or Seaquestria, as his home is located on the maritime border between ponies and hippogriffs. Regarding the plot of this character, I will probably later create more characters that will be sea monsters, because my early art with the white whale will probably relate to Long’s opponents, I like to use this in my plot.

Also, among other things, I'm discovering a new division. The thing is, among the characters in my stories, there are a lot of combat characters who use real weapons. So, from now on, I'll be dividing my characters into categories: those with weapons, I'll call them "combat characters," and the other half, "non-combat characters." And for the combat characters, I'll now be drawing their arsenal. Some people might like it, some might not, but I'll be adding it as accessories or decorative displays for future work. So, in essence, besides my characters, I LITERALLY HAVE MY OWN ROSTER. As you probably figured out, Long is a "combat character."
