"Whales are quite common to see at Mount Aris and Seaquestria. The hippogriffs and SeaPonies love seeing these gentle giants, and Queen Novo on particular makes sure that they are happy and protected. Here she is with a right whale (or rock heads as the hippogriffs/seaponies call them). They tend to stick to the colder waters, which means IceBeak is familiar with them, but they do stop by the warmer waters every now and then.
It's been a while since I drew Queen Novo. There's been a severe drought in Novo art lately, and she needs some more love. Novoember will be here before we know it."
