This is worthy of a yellow card, r-right?

Here’s my largest composition yet – over 125 layers! And I am definitely proud of it. This was a test bed to see how well I can add blood into a scene, and I think it looks pretty good. I warped many layers to give the effect of “wrapping” around the parts of the body, and it definitely worked the way I wanted it to. This may have been a blood test, but I have to say that Rainbow’s eye is my favorite part. Using a technique I just discovered with the Dodge tool, I was able to give her a realistic eye, even though it’s magenta. Anyone who’s been following my progress knows that the 3D EQG eyes are show accurate, but not very realistic. Well, I changed that.

All in all, this was a great piece and it taught me many specifics for certain tools, and it helped me fine tune my older skills in the software. You may be wondering “Who’s this new guy?” Well, this is a new character model from the animator I know, and he gave it to us to make cool things like this with. The snowman-head guy in the back is an inside to joke to the guys I’m making things with, so it’s okay if you don’t get it :⁾
