The forums are now (theoretically, I'm bad at programming so who knows) closed to non-staff posting, as an archive of the little that went on here.

hello I am here primarily to post on forums and build my reputation as anon poster #575689, of which nobody cares about nor will ever care about
@Anonymous #0D94
Me too, but you know how the gay can get.
@Anonymous #FA54
I'd rather have both have parity with bbcode.
@Anonymous #C98D
It pretty much forms an isolated community within a community, because most of the tards who are there for forums, are not there for images. Or ponies.

General consensus was that if chatting was needed, it probably belonged in the thread.
If /mlp/ ever dies a horrible death by gookmoot or becomes completely unusable, probably expect some screaming at the homosexual to update forums to parity with comments and then things reopening.
I'd opt for NHNB but given our userbase, eeeh, don't think it'd fly.
@Anonymous #365E
This, and because forum discussion tends to be super fucking cancerous (see: ponybooru)
@Anonymous #8E3F
Because theres already a dozen other places with more anons?
I do honestly wonder why forums haven’t ever been implemented here.
April: fooled
IP status: Grabbed.

Will it last more than 24 hours?
Test post, please ignore!
Well folks, it's almost been 3 years. Yeah, Twibooru was created in June of 2020. Time flies when you're (not) having fun, I guess.
We've kept pretty much the same rules and policies since our initial public release. It's always been content oriented over community oriented, with even comments on images being opt-in. But after some long and hard discussion with other staff members... Today seems like a great day to make a major change to the site.
We're turning on public forums. Have fun. All relevant site rules also apply in the forums.
Also: Does the term "CTF" mean anything to you? There might be one lurking over on this very domain waiting for you to find. No automated scanning of any kind is required. Hint: If you can pass the turing test, you know everything you need to start. But if not, you might be disallowed.
Does that mean nothing to you? It's probably not for you, then :)
