One last turn she held her breath
‘Til they reached the sea dock to the left
And all at once the tears came rolling in
And as they trotted own the way
The Stallion nervously swayed
But wiped the fear from off her face, Smiled and started to say
“I’m the Stallion who looks like you
Who cried because I never knew
About the filly in pictures that they showed me
A rambler in my younger days I knew I made a few mistakes
But I swear I would have been there had I known it
Never again will you ever feel alone…
And to you, I’ll come back home…to Ol’ Jamerca…”
And with that, Midnight would make sure he stopped by Jamerca as often as his job would allow him, to see, and care for, and love the Daughter he ever knew he had.
