A 'What If?' Scenario of if Pear Butter were still alive to take care of her foals as she should've had the chance to. I can just picture AJ wanting to spend time with her mom but she mostly enjoys learning to take care of the farm with her dad. Rarity would probably tease her for the times she sees Pear Butter making her 'pretty' for each day's work.
"Hold still pudding'" AJ fidgeted non stop under her mother's hooves as she just wanted to grab a hoofful of hair to brush. "But mom! I wanna go help dad! He's about to start bucken' without me!"
"Haha! You silly! Your father wouldn't do that. He loves bucken' with his daughter." Apple Jack's eyes lit up bright green with joy, "R-really? He said so?" Pear Butter blushed, "Well no..... but I can see it every time he bucks and watches you try to copy his moves. Haha, his laughs are the happiest I ever did hear. Trust me sweet pea, he loves ya." She picked up the red hair-tie in her teeth and scrunched a hoofful of blond hair into a loosely hung bun/ponytail and let it fall down AJ's right shoulder.
"Now, let me look at ya." AJ turned to look at her mom but just as she did she heard a giggle at the window next to them. "Darn it! Rarity!!" she yanked her dad's hat off the bed post and held it up against the window to block her friend's eye of sight best she could. "Stop peakin'!" then she heard both of them laugh and she felt her cheeks turn bright red. "Humpf!"
