Story - Discovering Plants and Flowers

Summary: Maud and Marble discover and take a look at some plants and flowers outside a house in Louisville, Kentucky.

Louisville was just the place where houses have plants and flowers are placed outdoors. Meanwhile, two ponies, who are likely sisters known as Maud and Marble Pie, are going over around some houses, studying and look at some flowers and plants.

"Looks like it is just me and you this time." Maud Pie told Marble Pie, as neither one of them thought it would be an adventure just themselves this time around.

"Mm-hmm." Marble Pie responded, saying her usual catchphrase, which is often when she agrees with her family on any topic at hand.

Maud and Marble Pie started looking around at the first house, seeing multiple plants and some flowers nearby. "I guess this is where we can start doing some research about plants." Maud Pie told her latter, both walking towards the plants.

"There's several plants and flowers, and remember, Marble, that some plants around this neighborhood are different and they are not always the same as people try and take care for every plant they have." Maud Pie reminded Marble Pie that all plants in the whole block was different from each other, such as philodendrons, grass, traditional plants and more.

Maud and Marble sat down taking a look at the first plant that's in a medium-sized pot. "First, the plants must be treated gently and kindly." Maud said, touching the plant with her hoof softly and she can.

"Mm-hmm." Marble Pie agreed again while blushing at the plant directly. Eventually, she tries touching the plant on her own, and somehow it worked, impressing Maud.

"You really are good with practicing on how to take treat plants nicely, Marble." Maud Pie told Marble, watching the latter touch the plant with one hoof in a very soft and gentle way. "Plants are just as important as rocks when you learn about them more.

Maud and Marble stood up and took a look at plants behind them, including several on the windows, and a few on the door.

"Plants, plants, everywhere." Maud Pie commented on the plants around the neighborhood in Louisville having several people having plants placed outside the house and not inside the house for a reason.

The two ponies next reached a house on the right, which some plants and flowers, except not as much as the first one they visited.

"This house has less plants and flowers from what I was expecting. Must probably need room for other stuff, I guess." Maud Pie said, looking slightly disappointed over the fact the house doesn't have as much plants and flowers compared with the ones they saw in the first house.

Regardless, Maud and Marble still must keep getting research on plants and flowers. When they walked up on the porch, they saw flowers that are roses, daisies, and lilies.

"Hmm, these flowers look like something Daisy, Lily and Rose would have, right?" Maud Pie asked her sister, knowing the flowers she is seeing are like the ones the Flower Trio have in Ponyville.

Marble Pie nodded without saying her catchphrase, knowing those flowers belong to the Flower Trio ponies.

"Maybe they might be living in this house." Maud Pie told Marble Pie, as she nicely knocked on the door, hoping it is the ponies she believes are in the house right now. A few seconds later, the door opened, revealing Lily Valley.

"Oh, are you in the need for something?" Lily Valley asked the two pie sisters, as one of them had a question for her.

"Do you own these flowers standing on this porch?" Maud Pie asked Lily Valley, as the flower closely matches her name, especially the one in her mane. "These flowers are so familiar, me and my sister just knew you ponies would be in this house."

"Um, yes, we own these flowers." Lily Valley said in response, as she, Rose and Daisy brought them for a while and nobody is allowed to have them unless they got money with them.

Lily Valley closed the door shut, as she had to do other things with her friends.

"I guess that means we would be for today." Maud Pie told her sister, as she rejected her plan for a third house with plants and flowers, or either one. "Let's go search for some rocks somewhere in this city." She suggested, knowing that they should go find rocks around Louisville.
