Running a business was great! Just a few months ago, Amethyst Glow wouldn’t have envisioned herself doing this, but now she had a job she loved and plenty of new friends and acquaintances, even if they seemed…questionable to outsiders.

But as with any business, there were technicalities to work out and supplies to stock up on. Amy was lucky to have her old boss Filthy Rich around to help her with this, including hooking her up with somepony to make new costumes for the girls. Somepony who was due to call any minute.

As if on cue, the phone rang and Amy quickly and cheerfully made to answer it.

“Amy from Saddle Shredder here! We strip for tips-“

“Amethyst Crystal Glow!”

“Nana!?” Amy’s heart leapt into her throat at the familiar voice. “You’re the costume designer?”

“It’s commissioned work! Does your father know you’re at a strip club?”

“No, Nana! It’s not what you think! Bedbug and I got a job-“

“Bedbug is in on this? And you work there? I cannot believe this! The horror!”

“I can explain-“

The line suddenly cut off, leaving Amy weakly and desperately uttering the last thing on her lips.

“Please don’t tell my dad…”
