Foresaken by her people and abandoned by the gods, the former Princess of the Sun makes her wages in grim Tambelon, beneath the profane and vile Bald Mountain. With only enough magic to keep her young and beautiful, and with no gold or governance, Celestia has only her body to provide her food and shelter. She goes from house to house at dusk, offering herself to the weary and bitter old men that pay her in blackened silver and cheap wine to serve as their harlot.

But Celestia is naive, pampered by years of easy living, of having her sister and student fight her battles for her. She drinks and fucks and wanders the cold streets well into the night, when all the locals refuse to leave their homes. For when the light of dawn dies, blasphemous Chernabog, lowest and most debased of the Elder Devils, spreads his wings of shadow across the land. Where his dark eminence falls, spirits and demons and horrors rise and wander the bleak and starless night, seeking out the foolish and the beautiful to defile, and corrupt, before offering them to their master.

The darkness blinds Celestia, her nude and curvy body aglow with what remains of her magic…a beacon to the eyes and claws of Chernabog and his unholy host, driven into the shadows by the Princess of the Sun in her prime. But she is in her prime no longer, now only suited to serve as a lowly sacrifice to the True Night’s King.
